Huawei Mate 30 Pro features and detailed review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which has been highly anticipated by tech lovers for some time, has finally been introduced. Huawei’s new flagship comes with many premium features. The model is very ambitious in design, with newly added colors to fill the eye. Although there is no clear information on sales in our country for now, considering the Huawei market in our country, it seems that it will take its place on the shelves very soon.
Let’s take a closer look at the features of Huawei Mate 10 Pro, which will come with the new version Android 30.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Design
The new flagship, a top-segment model, certainly seems to have jumped era when it comes to design. Although the single handicap is a notch, the only reason the company does not switch to the Pop-up camera is because it does not receive an endurance certificate. Skidded and pop-up cameras do not have waterproofing due to the structure.
Looking at the front, the zeroed side frames offer a true full-screen experience. If it wasn’t for the notch, you’d feel like you were just holding a screen in your hand. But the notch is designed in a format that doesn’t bother you very much.
With a display/case ratio of 93.02 per cent, the Mate 30 Pro is more successful than many phones using pop-up cameras in this sense.
The volume control buttons on the right side, which we used to see on Huawei models, were not used this time. This feature is fixed by using the edges of the touch screen. Therefore, only the power button is available.
USB Type-C input and speaker grille are connected to the bottom part. Stereo and dual speakers also seem to have solved Huawei’s audio problem. But the 3.5 mm headphone jack, which the latest flagship has gradually abandoned, is also not available in this model.
The camera platform is similar to the optics of a digital camera. The new round design is certainly very stylish, leaving the very unpopular square platform on the Mate 20 and Pro.
In total, 6 cameras are available in white, black, silver, purple and Yesil colors.
The model protected by Gorning gorilla glass 6 has an IP68 certificate. So it’s resistant to water and dust. It can offer up to half an hour of water resistance at a depth of 2 meters.
Weighing 198 grams, the Mate 30 pro’s thickest point is 8.8 mm.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Display
The panel, considered Huawei’s most successful display, is 6.53 inches in size. Offering 1176×2400 resolution, the display uses a slightly larger notch than the Mate 30, but the side frames are minimized to 0 mm.
Although the pixel density of the 2K+ resolution and 18.5/9 format used by the first Oppo company is considered normal, it remains somewhat low relative to the segment: 409 PPi.
But it certainly doesn’t make that difference thanks to DCI-P3 and HDR10 support.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Hardware
The most notable feature of the model that came with the firsts is that it was the first to use the Kirin 990 produced by HiSilicon. Now that one of the fastest processors in the market and produced by Qualcomm company and only used in flagship Snapdragon 855’den Kirin 990 is faster and more efficient, in terms of performance is running fairly stable and fast. The power of a total of 8 cores in the processor that the task distributions of the cores as follows:;
Superior performance and CPU requirements 2 units 2.86 GHz at the speed of Arm cortax a-76 cores that support the processor,
Mid – level CPU required and daily use for 2 units at 2.36 GHz that ARM Cortex A-76 cores are powered.
Lower and daily requirements for 4 units 1.95 GHz speed that the Arm Cortex A-55 is engaged.
One of the biggest innovations of Kirin 990 is its support of 5G technology. The 4G-powered model of the set has 8 billion transistors, while the 5G-powered Kirin 990 has more than 10.3 billion transistors.
The processor with 64-bit architecture is produced with 7 nanometer technology and the Mali-G76 MC16 is preferred as the graphics unit. Processor memory is 8 GB (RAM).
The Mate 30 Pro, which comes with 256 and 512 GB of internal memory in the UFS 3.0 standard, also offers support for up to 256 GB of memory cards.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Camera
With a total of six cameras, two in the front and four in the back, the camera is almost DSLR-like. Based on the camera specifications;
Front camera: at 32 megapixels, with an f/2.0 aperture, HDR support and 1080 Full HD video resolution, the camera’s fbs is 30 fbs ( 4K and 60 fbs would be better).
Second Front Camera: TOF 3D lens.
Main camera: 40 megapixel resolution with f / 1.6 aperture, 2160p Ultra HD 4K video resolution with FBS value 60 fbs, focal length 27 mm.
The Mate 30 Pro can record 960 frames per second in Full HD resolution and 7680 frames per second in HD resolution. This is the first time 7680FPS video recording has been used on this phone.
Second camera: at 40 megapixels, with an aperture of f/1.8, the focal length is 18 mm and the other feature is the ability to take extra wide-angle pictures.
Third camera: the 8 megapixel Telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture can zoom up to 3 times the optical zoom. Combined with the hybrid zoom, the camera can zoom up to 10 times, with a total zoom of 45 times.
Fourth camera: TOF 3D lens.
The Live Bokeh video feature, which we first saw on the Samsung Galaxy A80, allows you to softly blur the back of the video.
The best thing to say for the model, which incorporates many camera features, is that you won’t need a DSLR while the Mate 30 pro is with you.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Battery
Powered by a 4,500 mAh battery under the glass housing, the Mate 30 Pro comes with a 40W charging adapter. It offers 27W support for wireless charging. Conversely, wireless charging is not forgotten.
